Find me at The Wey Gallery

I was approached a few months ago by The Wey Gallery, which was interested in having some of my pieces in their Godalming-based gallery.

The gallery is a real Surrey gem run by the fantastic Julie Pugh-Jones and Clare Richards. It represents the work of some brilliant artists such as Dan Baldwin, Parastoo Ganjei, Suzanne Winter, and two other artists I have regularly exhibited alongside -Sarah Cox and Corrine Natel.

Located in a cute rural setting, with plenty of coffee shops and eateries nearby, the gallery's walls are large enough to do justice to larger pieces, and Julie and Clare have years of experience in curating art for big fairs such as The Affordable Art Fair, hence, the 'hangs' are always very tastefully orchestrated. The gallery carries works including Originals, Limited Edition prints, Master Prints, Sculptures and even glass pieces. The window is updated frequently, and the space feels light, bright and airy.

One of the joys of working with a gallery such as this is their expertise and knowledge. They know their buyers and what their clients are looking for, and they can offer advice on framing and installation.

Following the pandemic, it's been challenging for artists and independent gallerists, but galleries such as the Wey have a solid offer and client base that stand the test of time.

At the moment, I have four pieces on display there, but I will be looking to do a refresh in the coming weeks.

The gallery is usually open from 10am - 4pm Monday - Saturday, closed on Sunday's and Bank Holidays.
