SHORTLISTED FOR AN INTERNATIONAL ART COMPETITION
Well…. whilst my painting Delamont I didn’t win the @sunnyart prize, I was still pretty thrilled to have made it to the final 30 and be exhibited at their beautiful gallery on Gray’s Inn road London. Being part of an exhibition that examines some of the most pressing issues that revolve around both the costs and achievements of human life has been one of my proudest moments of my creative career to date. All of my fellow shortlisted artists engaged with themes such as colonialism, the climate emergency, war and conflict, the housing crisis, mental health, identity and consumerism. Congratulations to the three winners: 1st Prize: Christopher Cook, 2nd Prize: Emma Elliott , and 3rd Prize: Eunmi Kim.
